How to download, install and play Walking Dead: Road to Survival on your PC and Mac

If you want to install and play the Walking Dead: Road to Survival game on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Walking Dead: Road to Survival for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.

Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Walking Dead: Road to Survival game for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Walking Dead: Road to Survival in the search bar and press Search. Click on Walking Dead: Road to Survival game icon. A window of Walking Dead: Road to Survival on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your Game will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed Games.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME DOWNLOADING ANY OF THIS COMPANIES GAMES. Only way to compete in this game is to pay hundreds of dollars for a “chance” at their premier toons. People recently watched as all the money they spent became worthless when 6 Star characters were brought into the game. So the people who spent $$$ thousands $$$ of dollars to make a great five star team have now realized all the money spent was for nothing since 5 Star characters are now garbage. So go ahead and spend tons of money just to have the company update the game and make what you spent money on worthless. And the lies they told when they did this saying 6 Star characters would only be available via ascension was a huge lie since they throw out 6 Star premier characters twice a week but then they tell their players they don’t have enough developers to make some of the 5 Star characters in the game ascendable. So if you want to compete you need to spend $100 to pull 40 toons and you’re only guaranteed ONE 5 Star character which did I mention 5 Star characters are now garbage? There’s tons of glitches as well that they don’t fix or compensate their players. You can message game support with a glitch that cost your or your faction stuff and they will NEVER compensate you. So much for the PLAYER FIRST attitude that was promised back in July. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS GAME OR COMPANY. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT PROFIT.
  • The game is really fun and addicting

    By Strakenaveious-Okou
Let me say that this game is not paid to win. Using money to get you coins won’t always give you the greatest characters in the game, that takes time. If you play long enough, you’ll make it near the top. Since six stars have came in, people don’t start, and I don’t see why. If I were you, I’d start now, there use to not be six stars, and since you start now, you have a way bigger chance of getting one. So, with that said, the game is fun and addicting, I have played this game for over two years and it has never gotten old. The events are fun, and the roadmaps are challenging. The graphics are amazing, and the motions are cool. Also, some advice for starters, just keep playing. You may not get a cool character at first, but with time, you’ll have a good team. I started about a year or two ago, and I have a S3+ team that is strong. So don’t give up, keep moving through.

The game play is decent but regularly buggy. Many bugs have gone for months without resolution or compensation to the players; especially when the bug makes them more money. It is incredibly time consuming if you want to be in a top 5 faction. It is also incredibly expensive to remain competitive and Scopely has repeatedly devalued the items purchased by players. There is no open communication, minimal and often misleading explanation of identified issues, rarely an apology, and almost never any compensation, much less adequate compensation, for errors made by Scopely that cost the players. Scopely is a crooked company that treats their customers like something stuck to the bottom of their shoe. No matter how much you spend, don’t expect their customer service or community managers to do anything to help you. Customer service is absolutely non-existent and typically consists of cut and paste answers that don’t address the problem at hand. Scopely specifically designed their Terms and Conditions to try to prevent players from taking action when they commit fraud. They need to be thoroughly investigated by the FTC for their business practices.
  • Good Game, but f2p Options Very Limited

    By Tydus01
I'm a college student who has played for a bit over a year now. As many others have stated, this game is extremely addicting and a fun pastime; however, it's main flaw is the paying aspect of it. If you are a f2p (free to play) gamer and you want to make it to the top, this is not the best choice for you. It also takes a lot of time and effort to get anywhere, so that is another aspect you should take into account. Some of the upsides of the game is it's diversity, interactivity, and group dynamics. You will likely be a part of a team in this game. It's how you will participate in most tournaments. What makes this game unique is that there are people from all over the world that you can talk to and get to know. One "region," or server, may have 10-30k players. So, it always a fun, competitive environment. All in all, this game is decent but with a major pay to play flaw. Good luck to any newcomers.
  • Guys n girls it’s a waste of time and money.

    By this company is evil
First they can’t control all the hacking involved takes them days I mean days to investigate and ban cheaters. Then they want you to provide region, name prestige level and how or what makes you think they’re hacking I mean really these people don’t give a * about cheaters if they need you to provide all this information they should have by investigating a region. They give away free characters ascendable and decent stuff but like other players say hardly the character you need it’s designed to keep you starving so you spend money but yet they allow people to use external software to log into the app which also is used to cheat and change codes and basically hack the game it’s all over YT these guys have no way of stopping them don’t spend so not play this evil game. For a multi million company they sure lack in personnel security and customer support just ukgame don’t even try it I wish I could go back in time and slap the crap out of myself for even coming back to play this trashy game.
  • There’s something off about the developers and game.

    By bad bad game smh
First and Final Warning don’t even try its extremely repetitive. People use external sites to get free unlimited coins and modify their weapons no one plays fair in this game so once you start spending you realize some people just cheat and use hacked accounts cloned accounts and get whatever characters hey want without spending. You send them report about cheaters and they act months later I don’t what these people are doing anyone in the region can notice cheating but these guys take days days to even react after these cheaters have taken all the top prizes. The territorirs screen is buggy people at prestige level 7 use the 100k xp scavenger mission and still no ban and also make more than 4 million in level up points and still these accounts are allowed to play so yeah one lazy af company. Guys girls there’s enourmous amounts of better games with better support and teams who actually care about keeping the game clean these people are just ignorant. Play and slap yourself when you realize your the one being played.
  • Buying Coins not needed... kind of

    By GamerGirk520
Fun game! I’ve been playing it for 8 months and I love the new ascendables but it takes a long time to build up everything you need to be a better player and with so many different things to change (mods, weapons, gear, trainers, houses, ascendables, too many level up games ) and high costs to all materials, it’s a slow process for working your way up but you can get there without spending money on coins. With that, I do watch a lot of videos for the 3 coins and work my way to have an option to purchase something I want. I don’t do pulls because I think the game is too casino type and you will get good characters if you give it Time. I spend on their coin costs for extra refill packs or anything special that is guaranteed and under 200 coins if wanted. I have 4, 6 stars and working on my 5th) check on it a couple of times a day and join a faction and you’ll do great without having to spend the $$!
  • Dont need to pay to win

    By Bhejabahgwvah
Let me begin by saying I have not spent a penny on this game so far. It’s true that spenders will have an advantage, but the key thing is that if you don’t spend you can definitely be one of the top 200 players and do well! Spending only expedites the process, but for me, slowly building my team is part of the fun. You can’t be one of the top top players if you dont spend, but that’s okay. You can still make it to a top 10 faction easily and make a hefty contribution. It doesnt even take a long time, maybe around a month or two of daily checking on the game to reach that level. All in all, the game currently has a good balance between pay to win and free to play, the gameplay itself is engaging, and the community (at least in my region) has been nothing less than nice and welcoming.
  • Too many broken modes... on a long level grinder

    By Fs13
The game is fun, but they don’t work to fix broken elements of any one game mode before dumping more broken content in. Add this to the broken pay to play nature of how to get a powerful team (you can play for free, but are unlikely to have a good team for YEARS),and the roulette wheel odds at upgrades, and you have a game I wouldn’t download to join the game now. The 1player modes are world, roadmap, survival road, and faction assault, PvP modes are raids, territories, and 3 or 4 different types of faction wars. Almost all of the PVP modes are buggy, and scopely rarely fixes the bugs, they simply acknowledge they exist in your response from customer service and then roll out the next set of broken content. Also if you want to participate in all of your modes of content, you are looking at a several hour time investment. Too many modes, and too many that are buggy for this game to be fun for anyone to start fresh with.
  • Bad Management

    By Michinnegate 2018
As of July 1st 2018 we still have loot boxes without odds. When is Apple going to step up and either remove them or make them supply the customer with the odds. I too will have to chime in on the unethical change of a character that had been in game nearly 2 months. This company ran a second promotion of a character that was by all means the best character in game. During the second promotion approx 2.5 days into the promotion they reduced her special attack by 50%. This company did not say anything about the their mistake nor did they tell anyone about them fixing their mistake. It took people in their online forums to get them to even admit it. I have play d since December of 2015 I have seen how long it takes them to fix or update things, I am sure they knew about this before they started the second promo for this character. This is very unethical and borderlines theft. I do not see how apple can allow them to stay in the App Store.

    By jkl09865
Decent it’s just buggy very buggy and feel compromised definitely needs some immediate reconstruction of something because this app is not only going cause issues for the bit other companies as to hackers don’t care what hole they crawl into (bbb) and yeah I don’t see how playing along side cheaters helps anyone who pays actual money to have a decent team when a cheater uses nothing to win just garbage tricks. Guys this game is a scam they won’t let you join the top faction unless you spend tons of money hackers never usually get an eye they expect you to their work for them and investigate these people while they reap the profits eat steak every Thursday’s and seafood every Friday they don’t care about anything except money cheaters get banned years after being reported and after they’ve achieved getting all their faction top prizes these game is complete t-virus rash.
  • Fun game but limiting over time

    By Shannon Mac2014
I really like how they do combat and to some degree the advancement. Raids are ridiculous because it boils down to who spends the most money. They are stingy in giving out the good stuff so there is an overflow of middle prizes. I have been paying ten dollars a month for VIP but lately I have been thinking of canceling since they make some things grossly unfair. Customer care seems to pay lip service to grievances. Update: Raids are absolutely ridiculous during tournaments. They pair me up wit users at half my strength who beat me down putting my rating down mucho points. When I fight people of a similar level who raid my clan I beat them down easily so something is seriously wrong here but I do not think the company cares so might be time to put my money into another gaming app 🙁
  • Pay to Lose

    By Mantismask
This game is fun and addicting- there are a lot of different ways to play it, even if you run out of energy (that you can of course pay to refill). You have to pay or grind for a very, very long time to have even a chance at a 4 or 5 star character--I myself believe in supporting games I enjoy, but I've spent two months logging in every day and $20 and have yet to receive a single 5 star character. You need a team of these to get the items to level up even the lower rarity characters and the constant commercials ("news") are a joke. You expect a certain amount of this with games that micro charge, but with this, the chances of getting a good character are micro--the charges, not so much.
  • If you got Patience then this a game for you!

    By plankovich
I am a college student who has been playing for over a year now. And I usually don’t write reviews but this game is something special. And by special, it’s not purely a good thing. I’ll list the pros and cons for you. Pro: 1. Great game that requires you to meet new people and communicate with them. 2. Competition is High (the higher you go) Side note: usually though, there are 2-5 factions that seem to be the powerhouses of the region, and one seems to always be 1st. 3. Getting a good pull, feels like winning the lottery. 4. If got money to spend, you’ll have a lot more fun. Con: 1. REQUIRES YOU TO SPEND TO BE GOOD or you’re just a lucky person 2. Repetitive 3. The beginning is slow and seems to be a large reason why people quit 4. Toxicity; every multiplayer game has this though 5. Chances of good stuff are extremely low. I’ve met some cool people on this game and a lot of ********. I’ve spent money on this game and have been in the top factions throughout my play-through. So if you want to have fun and you’re okay with money. Definitely start in a NEWER region. Trust me it’s worth it.
  • Played this game for years

    By FB6Si
This game is straight pay to win. Anyone that tells you otherwise is lying. I spent about 60 dollars maybe on the game over the three years I’ve played and I spent hours playing this each day. With the time invested and the money I spent I’m able to keep up with factions ranked 6-12. You won’t be able to join top five factions or compete with them without spending thousands of dollars and investing 4+ hours a day into this game. It is a shame because the game has the potential to be so good but the pay to play players have too much of an advantage which made me quit. The addition of the armory and the ascension has made this game broken. If you actually want to play a f2p game and be competitive this is not the game for you. Be prepared to spend thousands and play for hours a day to compete with top factions
  • Scopley’s Greed and Incompetence

    By Metaloxx
Don’t waste your time with this game. The developer doesn’t know how to run a game and seems to want to actively get long-time players to quit. Their greed is astounding. Imagine paying $100 for just the CHANCE to get a valuable character or equipment, but most likely getting useless junk. If you want to try and be a free-to-play player, it would literally take you years to be able to compete at the top level. The game is stacked towards people who are willing to shell out money. And if you do write to complain about anything to them and they don’t like your feedback, they make it impossible for you to contact them. Any response you do get from them is a bland form letter that leads to nothing. Save yourself the aggravation and stay as far away from anything that has the name Scopely on it.
  • Good game- if you can climb the wall of china

    By Penguino54
This is a very fun game, and I have been playing for a few years, but HOLY CRAP! THERE IS SUCH A MASSIVE WALL!!! It took over a year to get 1 five star! However, oddly enough, after you break that wall, they come A LOT more often. On my 8th 5* now and it took long to get there, same with getting my first 4 stars. Now there are a lot more ways to get five stars as they are no longer top tier, but it puts a HUGE gap between too tier players and Free to Play people like us! I understand the gap, but there should be a better matchmaking system in wars and such to give a better chance. It's honestly becoming way too hard, and I'm not sure how much more I can progress at this point.
  • Suggestion for scoply

    By bossbto9957
I’ve been playing this game for close to two years and I love it, and with the new ascendable characters I think it made a improvement. The idea is new and innovative, but there is one huge issue that I could ignore until now. This game has a huge issue with paid interactions. You spend too much for a chance at a good character. If your going to spend a lot of money you should make it a guaranteed ascendable or at least bump up the chances of the higher end characters so people aren’t split on the micro transactions. I mean you saw what happened to EA. Your getting closer with these new ones but most people are willing to spend 20-30 on a character.
  • Scammers

    By Alan1234455
Scopely recently became scammers. I’ve been playing this game for almost 2 years. On April they released this character “michonne” she was out for almost 2 months and everything was good, in between that they also announced they wouldn’t be giving any refunds or won’t be allowed to be sued for any due. So then by the end of may they released “michonne” again to get people to waste money on her cause she’s a good character and then soon after “supposedly” they had made errors on her on her “attack” so they reduced it.. so now everyone who wasted money on her doesn’t have what they pretty much what they paid for or won’t get a refund or anything due to their “mistake”....
  • Don’t waste $

    By Fbhjkmnbhg
This is a good game my only problem with it is, they want you to spend money to upgrade your team. I have been sitting on 6 team members at max level and can not upgrade them until I get the special items necessary. Well to get those items you have to be able to beat a certain level. Well you can’t beat that level without higher level players. Hence you have to spend money to buy level up packs. If I hadn’t been sitting on these players for 6 weeks or so I would not be writing this. Just wish the game moved along a little faster or certain items were available to receive so I don’t have to wait 6+ weeks to upgrade.
  • Pervs in the Chatroom

    By AppleBananaGirl
My daughter and I have been playing this game for a couple weeks and so far the only big issue is the World Chat place. They are constantly swearing, talking about porn and threatening each other. It was entertaining at first but then it got more mean and way more graphic. It was like being around a whole bunch of jr high kids. Either the chat needs strict rules about the content that can be written or it should be taken away entirely. Please deal with it somehow.. Also the movies that you watch should get more coins than just 3. Maybe 5 or 8 ?
  • Fun but expensive/hard

The game is extremely fun and challenging- but expensive and sometimes unfair. Having to spend money for coins to buy characters is a pain especially if they’re a limited time. getting characters you want is extremely rare especially if spending 250 only gets you 1, and i just hate having to spend $5 for 330 coins. Besides that its a great- its fun to play when theres nothing to do All i want is to get clementine but i doubt that will happen in a million years. Hoping for another special when the final season comes i guess.
  • Pay To Win

    By Milo8563
At first this game seemed fun to me and I tried playing for a while now. After playing for over a month and improving, I still can’t do certain maps because I’m too weak and I can’t beat anyone in the wars against teams because I’m also to weak. You got to spend atleast $100 to have a chance at being good. All the good that spend will beat you in one or two shots. It’s unfair and the balance is way off. This game is bad and I noticed I have gotten no where even though u tried hard. The people that pay to win come in first place and get rewards to better them off while you get nothing. Highest characters are 6 stars and I haven’t even gotten one yet sadly. Rip off game to be honest. Could be fun but it’s not
  • Good game

    By O2driver
Definitely a pay to win kind of game, but that being said the producers do a fantastic job to make sure it's still playable as well as enjoyable to play. You're still able to do good without forcing you to spend money. It well balanced, and doesn't bore you with the same story line that we all know ridiculously well from the comics and or show. It's got some lag here and there but that could be my device. Over all I'd rate it an 7.5 if not 8 out of ten.
