How to download, install and play Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes on your PC and Mac

If you want to install and play the Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes game on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes game for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes in the search bar and press Search. Click on Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes game icon. A window of Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your Game will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed Games.
You should see the Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes icon. Click on it and start playing the Game

Game Reviews

  • Pay for play

    By Pain365
Been playing since it came out and it used to be great, now it’s all pay for play. When a new character or ship is released they make it impossible to get unless you pay to upgrade. Save your money
  • Way to dangle the carrot, EA....

...level 79 and no good payout in sight. Just pay and you'll be powerful. Very uneven matches even with maxed buffs. It gets really really frustrating and they don't seem to want to make it for our fun, it must just be for revenue. Sad.
  • Not fun anymore

    By ssk193
I have been on this game since launch. Used to be fun, but with the recent changes, it’s become a drag. There are a few power characters and every few months they introduce another one. Not a game based as much on strategy anymore, rather who has purchased the power characters. I say purchased bc it’s months if you are to farm them and only when the event comes around. Also, the game has become very unstable, constant restarts even in middle of battles. Lastly, this last change where they took out random characters for TW, I have had enough. I do not like where this game is going and am leaving it for good. Can’t believe I continue to hope that it’s gonna get better just to see another awful change come in.

Anything That Has Star Wars On It... Hit!!!!!! Think You George Lucas.
  • New events have ruined the game

Grand Arena (what a joke) and banned characters in Territory Wars have ruined this game.
  • Great game, now includes limits from EA

    By Fivemantrio
I love this game. I’ve been playing everyday for going on two years. I am satisfied with my progression and success at farming characters and building teams. But. Recently there have been limits placed on aspects of this game that I cannot use my characters, Territory Wars. So I’ve spent the time getting my characters and now because others whined about difficulty I am not allowed to use them. Ridiculous. Not to mention the ever money hungry machine of EA that pushes “legendary” characters that are only obtainable via cash means. This game has had lots of great additional content and new characters but losing interest in the gameplay decisions of the developer.
  • Fun game, but...

    By Ostroc2000
The diversity of characters is a lot of fun, with a variety of successful teams. There’s one exception, though. The crew from Star Wars Rebels is completely broken and unbeatable at comparable levels. I suspect a tweak to Hera’s leader ability would fix it, but don’t know for sure. Otherwise, a fun game.
  • Brilliant game

This game is good I will. Recommend this game
  • Essentially stealing money

    By Review3859372839
Love this game, but with the recent changes, they are basically stealing money from its users. They make you pay for a character, and then they make it so you cannot use the character. Essentially you are paying for something that you are not allowed to use!
  • Unbalanced rebel biased money pit

This game has become boring af and monotonous. The rebel bias is sickening. It’s not fun to play any more. Once you hit 80, it’s P2P all the way
  • Missing a few characters

    By MaddenMaster2018
Characters that need to be added to the game: 99, Hevy, Cutup, Kicks, Jesse, Karis the Nightsister,
  • Hard to play without spending money

    By Choteau39
I was lucky to start playing this game early and leveled up pretty fast and got character easy. Although for the past year it has been extremely tough to upgrade character or even get character to 7 stars to complete a set. I’ve never spent a dime on this game and have always farmed for characters. It takes months to get a character to 7 stars and upgrade characters is a nightmare... you constantly are spending gems, guild tokens, and other currency in the game. I made the mistake of leveling up my favorite Star Wars hero’s from the movies and shows like Anakin, who is extremely weak and has zero special abilities, Mace Windu, who only had one good power move. After each update they create character that are stronger than the last ones. It becomes irritating and difficult for people like me who don’t wanna drop a ton of money for a video game. I like the game overall and how it continues to create new events but even most of the events I have to farm for characters to even start the first battle of the special event.
