Game Reviews

  • A good game that has a few flaws

    By WeirdPerson1
Now, before I decided to purchase this app I saw a lot of mixed reviews about this app. I was skeptical about even considering to purchase, ‘Poly Art book.’ If, you are one of those people who read reviews before purchasing an app, I recommend you read this. While, this is a good game, there still is a few flaws. First of all, a lot of the, per say, “cooler” pictures are locked but, that can be solved by just watching a video. Second of all, to even get weekly updates, you have to pay. I feel as though that, $7.99 a week is too much to pay. I believe that this price should be lowered down to seem more “affordable.” Third of all, there is way too many ads. There is an ad when I open the game, one when I complete a picture, and one when I receive a locked picture. Overall, this is a good game but, it just needs to be worked on a little more. If, you are looking for a better game than, I suggest purchasing ‘Pixel Art.’ It is a free game so, go check it out. -A random person on the Internet
  • Too Many Ads and Battery Issue

    By twd trash
I decided to get a three day trial because this game is actually very nice and I wanted to play as much as I could before I inevitably deleted it and cancelled the $8 A WEEK subscription. That alone is just so ridiculous that I can’t even fathom it. I could understand $8 a month, but a week? Seriously? On top of that I realised it drained my battery so quickly, free version or not, that my phone went from 100% down to at least 80% in 10 minutes. I decided to check the battery health in settings and my relatively new iPhone 7 plus that I got in February has gone from 100% health down to 97% all because of this game. Literally two days of this game and it brought my actual battery health down. I know it’s nothing else doing it too since I check it frequently out of curiosity and I haven’t downloaded or done anything new on my phone recently at all. This app is fishing for money and even making my phone deteriorate before my eyes. I strongly suggest everyone delete this app if you’re having the same problem I was and to not give this company the money they so desperately want. If your app is good, you don’t need hundreds upon thousands of ads for support.
  • Decent game, although with some issues

    By A Piece of Trash
This game is wonderful, and relaxing, with calming music playing in the background as you solve the puzzles. The shining effect on the tile you placed correctly is nice, and the seamless connection of tile to the right area. I mostly don’t have any problems with the game, however, it disappointed me that there is a limit to the artworks you can create. There are weekly updates of new artwork, but they are reserved for the folks who pay for the subscription, which is a bit expensive. About 8 dollars a week is a tad too much. I understand that you need to make some money (we all have needs), but at least add one free artwork to the game weekly. That way, people who don’t pay for the subscription can have something to work with when they have completed all the puzzles. It’s nice that you added a option to watch ads for the premium works, but alas, the amount of times you use the app is still limited.
  • A great and fun game, but I ran out of pictures

    By Limo Jeff
This is a very fun game that I can’t stop myself from playing. There are many cool designs in the game that I enjoy attempting to create. This game also has its fair share of challenges as well. I wish I could continue playing this game, but I actually ran out of art. I did every piece of artwork in the entire game, so now the game is just taking up space. If this game was more like “Color By Number,” where new artwork is made on a daily basis, I’d definitely rate this 4 stars rather than 3. Also, there are some issues with the game. Sometimes, I’ll try to grab one triangle, and I grab the one next to it. Also, the smaller triangles can be harder to grab if they are next to larger ones. One last thing I’d say is I find it ridiculous that I’d have to watch 20 videos to do a piece of artwork. It’s a bit much. All in all, it’s a great game, but it could certainly be better.
  • Good!

    By gsjdjqkjsh
It is an amazing game with tons of detail and it is a great stress reliever. I would recommend it to people, but there is one problem. People with bad eye site may not be able to see some of the small numbers. Even though you can zoom into it for some of the numbers after zooming in all the way I can barely see it and I have amazing eye site, so the creator should make it so that you are able to zoom in a little more. This game is free which is good and even though there are many subscriptions you may want to buy to do one of the polys. I am not allowed to buy it. Is is actually very expensive, but instead you can just watch a video to do the poly design instead of having to buy the subscription!!!
  • Not all doom and gloom

    By dmurphy146
I loved the concept of this game—I’m not a gamer. I downloaded it before I read the reviews. Unless you’re willing to pay a weekly, monthly subscription, IMMEDIATELY follow the directions they provide to not be subscribed. I did and I have had no charges whatsoever in a month of play. I play on an iPad and have had no technical issues. The “cool” pictures are unlocked by watching a 30 second or so video. The ads are just a nuisance—I mute my sound and don’t listen. The banner ads just run; I use my super-groovy peripheral vision and don’t even notice them. After a couple of weeks, I got brand new pictures and no charge at all. I enjoy this app very much.
  • What a beautiful scam

By Annoyed that this even exists
This app is beautiful and it looked promising but I’ve tried it out for two pictures, maybe a total of 10 minutes and I can’t stand it. Every time you click a button an ad pops up, you can pay to do a picture by watching an ad, oh no I’m sorry you have to watch at least two ads. You can’t even test out the thing before they pester you to pay for it. You don’t want ads? That’s fine $7.99 a week. A WEEK! or $20 a month or $100 a year, seriously? It’s beautifully designed but obviously just a big old money scheme. Really anyone who pays that much for a pointless, mindless, game should find something more deserving of their money. Children separated from their parents at the border perhaps, that’s a much better way to blow $8 a week or $20 a month. This game is a joke.
  • Too much in-app purchasing

    By 🐺🐺Lilly🐺🐺
It’s a really fun game, and I like this a lot more than a similar app I already had, but there’s just too much in-app purchasing in it. Most pictures have to be paid for or you watch an ad. But the part that annoys me the most is you can’t even get weekly updates without paying $7.99 monthly. Plenty of games I have do have an $8 monthly membership, but they at least update. I’ll make the most out of the images I have, but I’m still disappointed. 😔 Edit: Changing to 3 stars because I figured out it’s not $7.99 a month, it’s $7.99 A WEEK!! That’s WAY too expensive for an app. Also, the battery drains so quickly while playing this!! Fun game, awful cons.
  • It’s a good game, but...

    By Legacy411
Okay so I don’t really write a lot of reviews for stuff but I felt like this is one where I should. First I want to start off by saying that I love the concept of this game, it’s very addictive and I can’t find another app that adds up to this one, but I wish they would fix the app to where the people who aren’t subscribed to get new pictures as well, it kinda makes me sad that there’s only a certain amount of pictures and then your done if you don’t have a membership, so I think that you should add more pictures for the people who don’t want to pay $7.99 a week because that is too much.
  • Great App but Holy Ads

    By Janco Jessica
This is a really great app if you are on a road trip and have no internet or if your just bored and want to do something. The only downside to this app, and the reason why it did not receive a 5 stars from me, is the amount of ads. Don’t get me wrong, I love it how you can get ‘premium’ pictures by watching one 30 second ad but you have to watch an ad every time you end a puzzle. It is very annoying. But I would recommend this app for anyone who has stress, anxiety, and OCD problems, because it helps me a lot. I would also recommend this to anyone who just wants a puzzle app. I just came here to give it 3 or 4 stars and ended up with a paragraph :)
  • Just.... why!?!?

By 🥥 Coconut Boba Tea 🥥
Playing a few minutes of it was too much for me. I don’t know where to start. Everything requires paying loads of money or watching twelve ads to do. The only puzzles you can play are far too easy, dull, and usually only have one color. On top of that, you have to keep scrolling to find puzzles. There aren’t any categories so it is extremely unorganized and hard to find free ones to do. When you try to pick up a piece in the puzzle it moves the puzzle instead of picking up the piece. Lastly, the ads. THERE ARE SO MANY ADS!!! What ticks me off is it is the exact same ad, all of the time. When you tap the X button it takes you straight to the App Store to download it. I don’t know if there is any hope for this app if it doesn’t get fixed.
  • Okay, but I’m drowning in ads

    By Circe54
I really love the art - puzzle style in this game. My only problem is the ridiculous amount of ads. Right after you finish a art piece - ad. While you’re working on a piece - tiny ad on top of the screen. Oh, you wanted to use this template? First watch TWENTY ADS. I’m not exaggerating... there’s literally a piece that you have to watch twenty ads for, which is unacceptable. They also constantly advertise their premium thing, which is eight dollars a week. Isn’t that a little expensive for an art game? Overall the game is good, but you can tell the developers are just trying to get as much cash as they can.
  • It’s Great, But...

    By R E A L I T Y
This app has beautiful pictures and calm music in the background, but most of the pictures in the app are for “premium” members and you only get weekly updates if you are again, a “premium” member. Even if I wanted to become one of those members it costs $8 a week which is too expensive if you ask me. It would be better if it was $8 a month but a week is too much. For some of the pictures you have to watch ads, and two ads are fine but twenty ads for one picture! At least make it ten! I hope in future updates these problems will be fixed.
  • Really great, but a little confused

    By Kiki😝😺🙃
This game is really cool! It’s very calming and serene (for me at least) especially for someone who has a temper (like me). It’s helps me stay calm and the music and the sound effects help too! But the reason I gave it 4 1/2 (not 4) stars was because I saw something really weird that I haven’t seen before. Recently when I opened the app there was an advertisement for “Poly Artbook” which was this exact game! I don’t know why you would advertise the game inside the game you were advertising for. Other than that, great game! 😁
  • Whoa 😮😯

    By mermazing🧜🏻‍♀️
At first I thought this game was gonna be one of those fun games on ads When it really isn’t. But this one is just like the ad. The only thing I need to say is that there is no create your own button. Also why are all the fun ones in the beginning locked 🔒? All the beginners that are free are mostly oragami. And I saw one that said FREE on it. It is not! That is literally a problem. Make it what it says! I still rate five stars ⭐️! - picture perfect 👌
  • Playing after a rage game

    By random person108
So I was playing a rage game and then an ad pops up about your app the music calmed down my frustration and I loved the artwork so why not give it a try😎 so I did and it was so simple at the start so I was very happy and it’s very addicting plus it just reminds me of the year 2008 or 2011 or 2013 and I loved those years and it also counts the years between its just amazing and get ready for people copying your app😂 cause they will because I saw that before
  • Potential but falls short

    By FunkyMusician
I enjoyed this game a lot until there was no way to get free puzzles. I get that apps need to make money but a subscription of 7.99 a week is outrageous. The number of puzzles does not justify that. Also I would be more inclined to continue using the app if I knew that more puzzles would be available and some would be free. Good comparison of this would be the app that title color number. Another option would be to gain points as you complete puzzles and be able to purchase those puzzle as with other puzzle games. Would NOT RECCOMEND!
  • It was great, until they got rid of the option to watch videos.

    By kaybabble
I really enjoyed this game. There were some free pictures to color and the pictures that needed to be paid for you could watch ads to unlock them. Some bigger pictures required more ads. I was very happy with this. Recently, I no longer have the option to watch ads to unlock the pictures. When I click on the pictures it takes me to an option to subscribe. Personally, I don’t want to pay $7.99. If they brought back the option to unlock pictures with ads I’d give this app 5 stars.
  • Very calming, stimulating

    By Unipup2
Relaxing, allows my mind to switch over into a better overall positive feeling (effort, but effortless all together)...... anything with this type of creativity is perfect for helping the mind and body breathe/balance better (sounds strange) but after focusing on the puzzle your mind has nothing to hinder/distract it from its task (because your mind is in the “right brain mind set”). Keep up games/puzzles like these👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
  • I really enjoy this app

    By P. M4nn
I love this app. It’s so calming. I didn’t think that I would enjoy it as much as I do. I find myself just playing the pieces mindlessly. The only downside is I wish there was more art for people who don’t pay. Also, I get an ad after every single piece of art. Even for ones with 12 pieces. At that rate, I should have some of the pieces of art where you have to view so many videos to unlock. Nonetheless, I love app. 5 stars if those changes could be implemented.
  • Pretty Good

    By Mittens CATLOVER101
This app is indeed quite relaxing, but I would recommend one thing- Give up weekly updates without having to pay for them. Please! I don’t want to have to delete the app because I’m stuck with the same artworks! If you are reading this and don’t want to pay, just note that you can watch a video to get locked artworks. If you hate apps that make you pay but want a good coloring app, I really recommend Pixel Art. Thanks!❤️ -Mittenz
  • Good game

    By DaddysBabyGirl10101
This game is overall really fun and relaxing, but, just like all the other coloring games you either have to pay money out watch adds just to color the cool looking and fun photos. This is a problem I find with many games. If you aren't expecting to spend money on this game then DON'T get it, but if you're willing to spend money than great. I personally am going to delete it after I'm finished writing this. Creators of this game: Maybe you should try making a game that doesn't have stuff like free trials!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
  • ......

    By 人moo
All I have to say is that this game is probably one of the best coloring games I’ve actually ever played, but there are a couple problems. A lot of the art is locked, and I get you need money and stuff, but at least can you unlock a little more? You’ve almost fixed it with all the videos and stuff, but that just gets sorta annoying. What I am really saying is, maybe do the ads shorter or less times or something like that. I saw a picture that did 20 times! I’m glad that it’s not just all paying, but this is just a little suggestion. I took off a half star(if I could, it would be 4 and a half.)because you don’t actually answer the reviews! If you are reading this, can you please give at least a short answer? Thanks, 人reindeer
  • Do better

    By skxbfbjjs
I opened the game and it was the most beautiful design playgendary have ever made, but after two poly arts I noticed I could only do 1/6 of the arts because you need “premium”, playgendary, more like paytoplaygendary. I you want to be better make the 1/6 a 1/4 at least or this is just a rip off. Good design though. Another thing you know the images they show you on the page? Well guess what they are all premium
