How to download, install and play Home Design Makeover on your PC and Mac

If you want to install and play the Home Design Makeover game on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Home Design Makeover for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Home Design Makeover game for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Home Design Makeover in the search bar and press Search. Click on Home Design Makeover game icon. A window of Home Design Makeover on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your Game will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed Games.
You should see the Home Design Makeover icon. Click on it and start playing the Game

Hi. Mac Gamer!

Game Reviews

  • Don’t bother

    By Silversprite_01
It shouldn’t take more than an hour of uninterrupted game play to pass a single level, especially a level that’s not listed as hard. More than 300 levels into this game and I’m tired of the boredom and frustration. This isn’t fun.
  • Awesome but 1 change ❤️😘

    By ShuieAltizer
I really love it it’s awesome but I gotta say I am a generous person and it’s not generous for instance I ran out of moves and It said would you like to buy more moves i said no because it’s soooo expensive and it took me to the start again but I love this Game and really recommend it .
  • Too many hard levels

    By Zappo1954
With the recent update the game shuts down right when you completed level 1537. Screen goes black and therefore you can't advance to next level. You keep having to play this level over, hoping it will go to next the level. But every time it goes black at the end of the game.
  • Pricing.

    By Aubocudbeoaru
I agree with a lot of the reviews. My other issues is WHY is every $1600 and up? PILLOWS??? Like the pricing when designing are NOT anywhere close to realistic especially when your playing the stupid levels over and over and over just for $800. Fix it plz $2300 for a clock....really???
  • Good game, but...

    By KirBat
I don’t typically feel compelled to leave reviews, but I feel like I have to here. My main issue is the same thing that other people have mentioned, too much time spent for such a limited reward. If you successfully beat the levels with enough moves left, you can gain more coins to continue the renovation/decoration process, but typically completing the levels with merely a move or two to spare won’t give you enough to change anything in the house. Some of the levels get too difficult which causes some users to abandon the app for months on end. There is also no way to gain diamonds without spending real money, which I know a lot of people are hesitant to do. Otherwise, the game is fun, the characters are charming and whimsical, and the holiday themed updates are especially adorable. I just wish there were more rewards for the effort expended playing the levels.
  • Costs way too much to make room changes

    By mamalaurena
I’ve been playing this game for a while and I am on level 3500. However, I’m about to call it quits. There’s no reason why doing one simple thing in the room should cost $5000 to do it. Which means I have to clear at least five levels to make that much money.
  • It’s ok

    By MegaM05
This game is grate but I have been trying level 42 for about 2 Homer’s but I can’t pass it. If the creator is reading please make some levels easier.
  • If I wanted to play candy crush....

    By Upset former user
I was led to believe this was a design game. It is if you can earn enough from the hundred’s of candy crush levels you got to win to earn $800-$950 coins which won’t buy you anything in the game. I’m on level 89 and have designed 1.5 rooms at a month into the game. To get boosters you “have to spend real cash to buy diamonds”. No rewards for levels won other then the small amounts of coins mentioned above. They make the candy crush levels so hard it easily takes 3-4 days to beat a level and I’m just tired of it quite frankly. Like I said I thought this was a design game not a copy cat candy crush game.
  • Career design challenge disappeared??

    By Blendingpro
I had been playing for a while trying to get to the outdoor canopy wedding challenge... I was one challenge away, and then it disappeared?? What the heck
  • OK

    By Aria Behhhhh🤘🏾
This isn’t a bad game but i don’t like how we have to play like matching games to earn money. it would me a lot more fun if we had the money and we just designed. FIX IT!
  • Challenges

    By esgypsygirl
I’d rather wait for my grandmothers decor to make a comeback. Decor is Basic. Yawn.
  • Too hard

    By LaFamiliaMora
Once you reached a certain level, the game gets harder. Really no extra rewards for completing the levels.
