How to download, install and play Spicy Piggy on your PC and Mac

If you want to install and play the Spicy Piggy game on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Spicy Piggy for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Spicy Piggy game for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Spicy Piggy in the search bar and press Search. Click on Spicy Piggy game icon. A window of Spicy Piggy on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your Game will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed Games.
You should see the Spicy Piggy icon. Click on it and start playing the Game

Step 4: Spicy Piggy for Mac OS

Hi. Mac Gamer!
The steps to use Spicy Piggy for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. You can get bluestacks here .

This game is so not worth the time and effort. It’s kept of glitching and would randomly make me jump when I was sliding. This game is not that fun!

I understand ads are a part of a free game but when I’m focused and an ad pops up. Just takes the fun out of the game. Also controls are unresponsive a lot.... I timed it and an ad pops up every thirty seconds. Which is just too much.

    1) Clean up the game design. This game is unfair and you know it. You can make a game hard without making it unfair. The question “2 + 2” is very easy when you already know the answer. 2) Make the controls more responsive. This adds to the unfairness and is the objective worst aspect of this game. It’s just an example of bad programming. 3) Make more levels. Take that first tip into consideration while doing so. This game is incredibly short. I got to the boneyard in no time flat. 4) Either remove or decrease the pepper count for using checkpoints. We don’t all have access to wi-fi all the time. We can’t always watch ads to activate checkpoints. It’s so frustrating when you make it to a checkpoint, die, then have to restart the entire stage because you didn’t collect enough peppers. It’s not the good kind of frustrating that drives you to keep going. 5) Come now, this isn’t the hardest platformer ever. Stop lying. You’re embarrassing yourselves. Games like Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Ghosts ‘N Goblins, and Dynamite Headdy are much harder. Let’s pretend this game is the pinnacle of good game design, this isn’t even the hardest well designed platformer. A game like Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest would take that title.
  • Glitchy

This game is beautiful and fun and I want to love it, but there are glitches that make the frustratingly difficult become just frustrating and angering. You need fast twitch controls in this game. I know I’m hitting the buttons and the spicy piggy isn’t jumping. Is there like a half second delay after landing that’s supposed to be part of the game? Another thing that keeps happening, I’ll reach a checkpoint and it’ll show me the start, but the spicy piggy isn’t there. And it’ll just keep looping. Until these glitches are fixed it’s not worth getting too invested in this beautiful little game, but it’s free, unless you pay to have ads removed.

As a fan of tough platformers with an emphasis on speed running (such as Super Meat Boy) I’m definitely enjoying Spicy Piggy. The controls feel great in this game. Dashing into a jump feels good. It’s a 3 button platformer, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy game. You can jump, slide and breathe fire (slide doubles as a speed boost/dash button). You will need to use all these buttons in combos with good timing. The dash allows you to shave tons of time off your run through a level, but you have to have perfect timing because it make the game much faster. If you don’t use the dash, some levels are easier... but I GOTTA GET THAT STAR FOR BEATING THE LEVEL FAST. My one gripe is the intermittent ads. I’m a long time Nitrome fan, and I would absolutely have paid to remove the ads. Sadly you cannot. No in-app purchases here... If you’re reading this Nitrome you should TOTALLY port Spicy Piggy to console ;)

Good game, needs more attention this wasn’t finish to me. Controls are very bad and lags need to fix controls add something else in the mix to keep them coming back for me after they die or something.
