  • Bad Writing And Also, Why Bother Giving Choices?

    By Dorkily
Writing is horrible for most of the stories. One example is a story that goes by the name of HiS. Guy was a complete creep and I felt as though I were reading a romance novel written by a horny 13 year old. Most of the characters in these stories just outright have outlandish and dramatic responses to simple things. It also didn’t help that nearly every “choice” you were given for most of these stories were incredibly limited. Most of the time, it felt like any choice that would help you understand the story better or actually makes sense given the situation would be a pay-only option. The worst choices are left as free. Why even bother with giving choices? Why even bother listing it as a free game if any common-sense choice is something you have to pay for? Sure, you get 60 diamonds for almost 5 bucks and it seems like a lot, but it really adds up. You’ll probably end up paying a lot to get through one story while making the choices that actually feel like they make the most sense. 60 diamonds barely gets you through most chapters if you’re going to get all diamond choices, which vary between 12 diamond and 17 diamond costs. Only upside I can say is that they are much more fair with tickets compared to other story apps. One ticket per 30 minutes with a max of 2 at a time. I remember one of these apps expecting me to wait 2 hours for just one ticket.
  • Best story app

    By ruishigao
I have played a lot of story apps: Choices, Episodes, Lovestruck, What’s Your Story?, etc. This is honestly one of the best if bot the best one. Like the rest of these story apps, you need tickets to read a chapter. However, Chapters is the most generous one. In other apps, it takes 2-4 hours to get a single ticket, and most give you a max of two tickets at a time. Chapters also has the standard of two tickets, but regeneration time is only 30 minutes, which is awesome! The timer starts as soon as you use a ticket to start reading, which is nice since some of the other apps don’t start the timer until after you’ve finished reading. The best thing about this app is that it doesn’t make me feel like an ATM like the other story apps, which are full of ads and have a many choices that needs to be unlocked with many diamonds/gems. This app also requires diamonds, but it’s not outrageous like other apps which have choices that cost 30-50 diamonds. Most locked choices in Chapters that I’ve seen cost 17 diamonds or less, which I think is very reasonable. I also have never seen an ad. Honestly, this all makes me very willing to spend money on this app, which I have done.
  • Awesome

    By jmcclellan233
I really love this app. I think it’s a great app with lots of fun stories to choose from. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the fact that the choices with diamonds cost so much. Honestly, the diamond choices should only be like 5-10 diamonds instead of like 19. Also the outfits should be lowered in price too. I do like how there are options like watching videos to get diamonds and sometimes you get diamonds during the story or how you earn a diamond after every chapter. Also, i think it should change a little bit in the random emotions thing. Sometimes if you don’t spend diamonds, the other choice you make gets the characters mad at you and it’s really annoying for the reader. And the waiting time for the tickets was nice because it was only 30 minutes for each ticket, but with the new update, it’s like 2 hours. Please go back to the original. I really love this game, but I’m kind of sad because with the new update, the app won’t open because it can’t connect to the server when it always could before. Overall it’s a great game, here could just be a few things fixed.
  • Almost like Choices, but it still needs work

By Drums Is The Heart Of Music
I only Chapters better than Choices because it’s not as political compared to all the apps, like how choices and episodes have to always add a gay/lesbian or include every color of people just to make it “diverse”. For someone who’s Multiracial and has many friends of all colors, race, religion, gays and lesbian friends, I’m not against it. It’s just annoying when it’s overdone and obvious. Moving on, the gems don’t really make a difference in the story, which is cool with me because the story is a little more fair for those who doesn’t want to waste their gems or is saving for the right decisions. However, the gems don’t make an impact at all. I like that I was given 25 tickets to start the game. Above all, this app is okay. The writing needs work. There are a couple grammars and it feels like everyone talks the same.... like the characters don’t have their own characteristics. Nothing unique about it really. Kind of annoying... but I think it’s better than Choices because I sometimes get free tickets/gems from spinning the wheel.
  • Some cheap woman..with no creativity.

    By gahhallnicknamesaretaken
I gotta start off by saying I love the game. The stories are good for the most part, enough so to keep you waiting for every other chapter, and soon every other book. My only problem would have to be how expensive the choices are. I don’t mind waiting an hour or so for a couple of keys, but 15-25 diamonds per choice is a bit much when you’re cheap and you only get 2 diamonds per chapter, assuming you want to watch an ad for it. Hate to whine but it seems a little overboard if you’re asking me. Though other than all else, the stories are great and helpful for the imagination sometimes. Keeps a creative spark going, cheers to the person who thought up of them. Then again, I’ve only come across maybe three or four of the stories and I haven’t finished a single one yet, so don’t take my word. Play for yourself, each person does their own thing. But for the most part, they aren’t half bad aside from a couple here and there. Incredibly short review, but I didn’t have much to point out other than those few things.
  • I LOVE IT!!

    By CeceliaNicole
I’ve been reading these interactive story apps for YEARS. But I’ve just recently downloaded this particular app. The first one I’ve downloaded was called ‘Episode’ and I loved it. Then I got into the app ‘Choices’ and loved it as well. Recently, I decided to explore other interactive apps and downloaded many Japanese apps but they all looked weird and just were weird stories in general and maybe about a week ago I came across this app and read the reviews and even though many of the reviews didn’t speak very highly of the app I still decided to give it a shot and THANK GOODNESS I DID! The first few books I read AND finished I LOOOVEEDD. They were “Calendar Girl” , “Twice the Growl” , “Inject Me Sweetly” and I’m currently on “The Rake and the Recluse” they are by far the the most erotic and steamy interactive books I’ve read from an app. And you actually get the legitimate emotions to different characters as if they’re real. It’s amazing. I’d give this app an 8 out of 5 stars if I could!!
  • Great and enjoyable but special choices are expensive

    By LeeRhyneetr
I really enjoyed the stories that have been created so far. Although, 17 Gems for a “special” choice seem to be somewhat too much for a single choice. I would be fine with around 11-14 per special choice one reason that 17 gems is so expensive is that when the math is checked 17 multiplied by just 6 choices means you already used more than 💯 100 gems by then which seems slightly high. at least with 11 gems or 12 you could make at least 8 choices per 100 gems spent. However I love the idea of adding special gem reward choices for certain moments if chosen correctly. When comparing the discrepancy between a unique choice (gems) and number of gems potentially you could get from reading a chapter. I would assume it is probably at BEST like 17 used to 4 gained if you choose a gem choice. I also like the amount of time between passes/tickets it seems quite reasonable to me at least. In addition, the daily video for a free ticket is a nice little bonus.
  • Suspenseful stories and good ticket system

    By Nic406
I've never been one to use story apps or read romance stories really, but the stories on this app are good at building up suspense and tying in puzzle pieces of the story together. I do like the 2 tickets per 30 minutes system, but the diamond choice system could be more generous, in that 17 diamonds for a single choices seems a bit much. My only actual complaint is the achievement system which I'm logged in with my Facebook account, and some of the achievements aren't being detected, which annoys me since achievements give free diamonds and tickets I think. Overall, it has good stories with a few mediocre ones scattered around. I found this app through a snapchat ad which I don't take pride in, but now I'm glad to have downloaded this app. It has sparked back my interest in reading as a total, even if the stories are on a easy reading level compared the books I usually read.
  • So much better!

    By Vicckers
Keep in mind that a diamond choice worth 17 costs around $1.36 if you buy the best value diamond pack. There are ways to earn diamonds but there seems to be a cap on how many you can earn.. I think the diamond choices should be lowered to 10 or lower. I've found that using them doesn't alter the story by much, most only give you an extra line or two , so in my opinion they definitely aren't worth spending over a dollar to pick a diamond choice. That being said, I was playing the game choices but they really try to rip you off with their diamond system. I was looking for a similar game and found this. First of all ‘Inject me sweetly’ is the best book I’ve read on any of these types of book choice games! Not thing like a vampire romance🤤 I’ve read it many times and can’t wait for you to come out with more!!! I hope you add more soon!! Also I really love the fact that you are able to earn diamonds (unlike Choices). Keep up the great work here, I love it!
  • I Can't Take It Anymore

    By jazzy0803
A lot of these stories are written by authors that don't let the player choose what their character will look like, even though the character's background has very little or nothing to do with the story. I'm noticing a pattern and I don't like it. A lot of the stories are about s*x and/or love crazed female characters that seem to find the male love interest "hot" no matter what; even though the male love interests aren't even attractive a lot of the time. You go through darn near the whole story only to have to PAY gems to say yes or be "official" with the love interest you were forced to date and/or sleep with the entire story. A lot of the authors seem young, immature, and/or naive because a LOT of the characters and relationships that take place are severely UNHEALTHY. Chapters needs to do a better job of picking authors that don't just write about white characters and their stories/relationships, and stop picking authors that have horrifically unhealthy views of relationships and that write for teens. Also, pick which age demographic you want to write for. One story, "Twice the Growl" was EXTREMELY inappropriate for anyone under legal age. Do better, Chapters.
  • Terrible

    By a disappointed player tbh
A lot of people have been saying in their reviews that this is one of the best story apps out there, but to me it’s by far the worst. As an avid player of Choices and a writer, this game is boring and terribly written. I feel as if I’m reading a fan fiction written by someone who’s never left their house. For example, I read a story titled Calendar Girl (or something like that) and in the first two chapters all the MC did was talk about sex. The drama was unrealistic, and I get that it has to be slightly exaggerated to make it interesting, but it moves too fast. In the second chapter I had already ditched my family, and was living with a random guy. And the guy was supposed to be hot and sexy, but he just came off like a total creep. And yeah, you only have to wait half an hour for a ticket, but what’s the point of getting tickets fast when what you’re using them for isn’t worth it? And the diamond choices are awful - you barely skim the surface if you don’t want to pay. All in all, this game is horrible, and there is also zero diversity?? Don’t get this app, and whatever you do, do NOT spend money on it. It isn’t worth it.
  • Fun, but gems are an issue

    By Bruh it's Mary
I enjoy reading some of the stories. Yes, the writing needs some work and some of the stories are extremely cliche, but they can be fun to read. One issue is that it gets really annoying with the gems, as to do any action it costs a lot. In the earlier stories made, if you chose a certain option you could gain gems yet that stopped for some reason. And to get free gems, you can watch one video and get one, complete a chapter of a book you haven't read (so you only get a gem if it's the first time you read it), once you finish a book you'll get some, and there's the tasks needed to be completed as well (only on first completion of book) Although it seems like there's a lot of ways to earn gems, it's actually difficult to do so, since the prices for outfits and actions in the book are expensive. I think if there were more ways to earn gems (with the new added feature, with earning cards for certain tasks completed in a book), you could make it so when you get a card you earn gems or making it so in the new stories, if you choose a certain option you're able to get gems too. Besides the gems, I like the app and I just think there needs to be improvements to either make it possible to earn more gems or to make it cheaper to buy certain items or choices.
  • Best Story App I've ever used

    By Twilighter389
This is one of my favorite story apps I've ever used. I've used pretty much all of them and I've spent money on all of them but I always seem to delete them after a while and sometimes re download them if I'm bored. But this story app is my favorite so far. I love the stories it has and the special effects and characters are really great. I love that it has different genres and it even has stories that represent the gay/ lesbian crowd. The story lines are awesome and some are even realistic to me. I love starting a new book and just escaping into another character other then me. I'm a big bookworm and this is very relaxing to me. My only thing is I wish they would put newer books and chapters out faster. I have no problem spending money on this app because I know it's going to be worth it in the end.
  • Good but could be great

    By aly kat baby
I love the choose your adventure stories and apps, so when I heard this one was coming onto the Apple market I was excited! I like that you earn diamonds by playing, and have the opportunity to earn diamonds by watching a video every now and then, but many of the choices still cost a lot of diamonds. I can appreciate that most of the diamond choices don’t really effect the story, but that also makes me feel like that is pointless to have. I also notice a ton of spelling errors and immature language in some of the stories. I’m not sure if the writers speak English as their first language or not? In any case, this is a fun app. It will be even better as they continue to grow their story base. I would still say the choices app is my favorite of this genre though. I’m willing to pay the money for better content in that sense.
  • Meh

    By 352719;!,!&/!
So I have both apps- Chapters and Choices, so I’ve used both apps to kind of determine what I like and don’t like about one or the other. With Chapters, I really like that you get rewards for being a loyal reader, it’s 30 minutes wait time for a ticket to read a chapter, and sometimes by making certain choices you get bonus diamonds. The problem in my opinion with Chapters is the storyline for most of their books. They all have the same kind of story line with someone having either a history of an abusive relationship or mean parents. And the love part of the novel doesn’t include any chase and often the characters seem so creepy. Most of what they say are not realistic AT ALL. In the story His, in the first chapter, one character is already talking about making some stranger he met “climax”. Wait, what? I’ve also seen a lot of typos. So the rewards in the app are great but the rewards mean nothing if there’s nothing that’s really worth reading.
  • Love this App

    By YukiRose (My Quidd name)
I love these stories they are so addicting I love that you can get diamonds from choosing certain choices and I love that you get diamonds from getting achievements I just wish there were more achievements or other ways to earn free diamonds because I go through the diamonds way too quickly and sometimes have to choose choices I don’t wanna choose because I don’t have enough diamonds I also hate having to wait for more tickets I do like that the timer starts as soon as I start reading a new chapter and that the wait time for a new ticket isn’t as long as other games make you wait I do also like that I can watch an add to get more diamonds it takes awhile to get a lot since it is one at a time but it is still nice All I All though I love reading these stories and can’t wait for more to come out
  • Best Story App!!

    By Cupcake Lover957
Let me start this off by saying THIS GAME IS ADDICTING. The stories are really entertaining and you really feel you’re the character. Unlike other apps, it’s really easy to get diamonds and it’s not overly priced. Sometimes things cost 10-12 diamonds, while others cost 17-20. Considering you get one diamond after you finish a chapter, it’s a pretty good price. Also, instead of waiting a ridiculously long time for tickets, it only takes 30 minutes to generate 1. Overall, this app is amazing!! One thing though. I don’t know if it’s just my phone or the app, but it keeps sending me back to my home screen. I can’t even get to the loading screen without it kicking me out. If this is a bug, please fix!!
  • Decent but diamonds are too high

    By GreeneChelle
Pretty decent storyline with some spelling errors. But starting out with zero diamonds and everything costing 17+ diamonds for some of the random choices is awful. And to give 3 choices but two of the 3 choices costing 12-17+ diamonds leaving only one choice that isn’t outrageously priced. And they don’t even unlock anything special just basic choices shouldn’t cost so much. It’s not well balanced there at all. Storyline is good. Get the company is trying to make money, which I don’t mind spending if it wasn’t every turn you make costing so much. This creator decision has made me NOT want to actually spend real money in diamonds as it leads me to believe I would have to spend too much real money in order to make simple decisions within the story. So I’ll stick with the free choices. If this ever changes I would reconsider.
  • Not Better Than Choices

    By Annabelle Woods
But it has the potential to be just as good. You have some things to fix, certainly. 1.) Delete HiS. Like seriously, delete the entire thing and rewrite it. It is the most cringey thing I’ve ever been forced to read. Kyle is absolutely detestable as a human being. Borderline assault-y. I’d be scared of him if he were in my neighborhood, near real children. Like. Ew. 2.) Lots of spelling mistakes for a game that is mostly about reading. I can understand one or two, but I’ve definitely counted more than two. That, and quite a few punctuation errors as well. More than a game about reading should have. 3.) Weird emotions. The characters seemingly get angry over...nothing. Or sad. Or resentful. It’s very strange. 4.) Diamond ads. I can’t play the ads. I don’t know if that’s just on my phone or on everyone’s, but I’m unable to gain diamonds by watching ads and it seems a little odd that the offer is there and I can’t use it. 5.) The chat thing. There is more cussing on there than I could believe. Like, super disgusting vulgar things. 6.) Colored people. I have yet to see a dark-skinned character that isn’t like a burnt orange color. Overall it is a good app. There are lots of stories that are interesting and fun and I’d still recommend the app.
  • Juvenile writing

    By Voxcorvi
I’ve read a few of the books, and honestly I’m shocked at the low quality. They’re disjointed. The stories, dialogue, typos, and editing make them feel like they’ve all been done by 12 year olds. No one reacts realistically to anyone else; everyone is hyperreactive and dramatic. When they’re not yelling or making pubescent innuendo, characters are stiff like an elementary school play. Everything was “just a dream.” People are in love suddenly with no development between them. Characters dramatically confess they know something, then a few chapters in are shocked to find out that thing they already know, and it shakes the chapter. Continuity is nonexistent. I’m sorry to have to say it, but I do have to. Your quality is extremely poor. Your writers are children. Your content is lamentable. I’ve seen better, less disjointed stories on fan fiction websites in 1999. Please get rid of these writers. Your editors too, while you’re at it. The typos are a flood.
  • Another story app I’m hooked

    By AzianKiRo
So I am all about the romance, esp when there are LGBT options. This and Choices are on my phone. Right now it Starstruck and Kidnap a princess because its focused on women. Have not come across the guy with guy options yet. But I have restarted starstruck in the mean time of waiting for updates!!! I will admit this is cheaper than Choices. I tend to reread stories and try the different choices because I like seeing the outcome of those choices that influences your story. So it does not charge you tickets again if you already read that chapter and the paid choices are reasonable. Please keep the updates going and I cannot wait for more stories to choose from!
  • Honestly don’t know if I can with this app anymore

    By Anonymous 😘😀😀😀😀😻
The price for gems is absolutely ridiculous. Literally only 60 gems will get you 3 choices. It’s a waste of money. Especially if you make a decision to do something thus spending gems and then it completely knocks out the decision you spent your gems on. And it’s absolutely ridiculous that the videos for free gems is not working. And what happened to when you finished a story your earn like 30 gems? And then the thing of when your read for a certain amount of time or read during certain times of the day and or finish a story you earn gems? That doesn’t even work anymore either. The whole app needs a major update to fix these problems. I love the stories and don’t want to have to delete this app. But I just can’t with it anymore if these problems will not be fixed. Honestly the Choices app is so much better than this.
  • Great But......

    By BellaNice10
Ok it’s the best one that I played like other story games like:Episodes they make u wait 3 bourse to play and u only get 2 tickets to play I don’t think you should have to pay gems for any thing like Ingect MeSweetly you have to pay 24 gems to be a vampire to live or die I mean in real life you don’t have to pay to say or choose any thing so why do it in a gam???but the tickets I love how when u use a ticket the timer is started but why only 2 tickets why not 4 I think we should at least get 4 when I first started playing the game u had 7 tickets then I had 2 after I used all the I think we should get more like please raise it up to 4 at least please
  • Could be better

    By QTill
I like how this app rewards you on holidays and how you can watch to earn free diamonds. One thing that keeps happening on my phone though is every time I watch a story before it starts an add plays but doesn’t finish and it sends me right to my home screen. So I have to reopen the app several times and watch several adds for the story to start. You guys should also delete the story HIS. Kyle reminds me of some type of sex predator and I couldn’t even read past the first chapter. It was super gross. It was hard to see someone falling in love with him and was kind of unrealistic. The stories like Hide and Seek, Inject me sweetly and Hades daughter were great. I’m also currently reading Stealing the princess and that one is pretty good.
