How to download, install and play Fortnite on your PC and Mac

If you want to install and play the Fortnite game on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Fortnite for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Fortnite game for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Fortnite in the search bar and press Search. Click on Fortnite game icon. A window of Fortnite on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your Game will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed Games.
You should see the Fortnite icon. Click on it and start playing the Game

Step 4: Fortnite for Mac OS

Hi. Mac Gamer!
The steps to use Fortnite for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. You can get bluestacks here .

    fortnite is so fun!!!!!!!!
  • Control is horrible

    By Meganneres
Good luck doing anything with any remote success, whether it be gunfights, building, even WALKING. The controls obliterate any play style or experience you have, because the game has such minimal flexibility when it comes to the things you do. Do not even attempt to walk sideways, because your character will appear to have a seizure, with the awkward movement and jerking around. Reloading is a challenge because of the tiny button, and the game is entirely unforgiving when it comes to brushing up against a corner, which will stop you entirely. Aiming down a site is extremely difficult, and moving around while aiming is even worse. The controls need fixing ASAP. Also experience a ton of lag. I always have minimal ping, and I am the only one using my WiFi network. Would give five stars if some of these issues were somehow fixed. Update: I am no longer able to play a single game without the app crashing. Usually happens when I am moving, which is pretty much at any random time during the day. Very irritating, especially when I am doing well. Fix this.

I usually play on my Windows 10 but I decided to play Fortnite for the first time on my SE. Worst idea ever. First of all, the controls are terrible and if you’re playing on a phone (like I did) you’ll have the worst Fortnite gameplay ever. For iPad users it’s just a bit better but still not good. When I played Fortnite on my iPad it was hard to move properly and shoot. Also, it takes 1 GiB to download on your mobile devices. I’d highly recommend playing Roblox. For computers, you can play Roblox on a Windows 10, Mac, Mac Pro, even Chrome (if you follow and friend me, I’ll give you the secret). For mobile devices you can play Roblox on a phone or iPad. You can even play on a XBox. My username: Korlz50

I have an iPhone 8, and the crashes make this pretty close to unplayable. i cant even reach the ground after jumping from the bus before the game crashes and kicks me out. i’m surprised i was even able to teach tier 33 with how bad it is. after i save up for a switch i’ll be deleting this app and never looking back.
