How to download, install and play Dancing Line on your PC and Mac

If you want to install and play the Dancing Line game on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Dancing Line for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Dancing Line game for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Dancing Line in the search bar and press Search. Click on Dancing Line game icon. A window of Dancing Line on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your Game will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed Games.
You should see the Dancing Line icon. Click on it and start playing the Game

Step 4: Dancing Line for Mac OS

Hi. Mac Gamer!
The steps to use Dancing Line for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. You can get bluestacks here .

Game Reviews

  • You were on a roll

    By Jnuck83
OK so I have been every single level in this game except for the new level“All about us“. I love this game in the sense that is addicting, but also very simple and not hard to understand. I feel like you guys were on a Roll with all the levels until you made the sailors tail. The sailors tail is a nice level but you left a lot of blank spaces and the level could’ve been much nicer if you would’ve just waited a week or two to release it and added a lot more smaller details on the sides and places like that. Every single section of a level was unique before a sailors tail. You never just use the same theme or colors or anything like that for a section of a level. I feel like the Crystal was your best level. It was totally unique, it never repeated itself, and was a beautiful level overall. The new level all about us is really bad and doesn’t stick to the music and you can tell that it was lazily made. It’s good that you used a song with words, but I think everything a one of your OG fans love the original instrumental soundtracks. I feel like when you started this game it was beautiful and we’re just doing it because you loved it. Seems like you’re just doing it for the money now. The level of ad you have to watch just play the game is ridiculous. Everyone loved the simplicity of the old menu design and I really wish that you could change it back. I love this game and I’m going to keep playing it, but you need to get back to basics
  • Great, but glitches

    By RadomsTheRockshaker
When I got the game, I loved all the new songs and menu design. However, it glitches so much! I was doing the beach song, which is the remix of the piano song, and the screen would freeze and then it would unfreeze and my dancing line would catapult and send me off track, and there is nothing I can do about it. Also, the winter song has random blocks appear, which is not the glitch. It’s the fact that the screen freezes and I freezes but the dancing line is way ahead of the game so you don’t know where the blocks are going to appear and they only appear behind you, so you just crash instantly. No, my phone is not responsible for the glitching because I never experienced it before, only on this game. Now I feel bad talking trash about the game and it’s glitching, but it needs to change. It will make my day if there and update saying general bug fixes because right now it’s ridiculous. Lastly, the adds are annoying too, but not as much as the glitches. All in all, I know I talked trash about the game but it is still a very great game and the music is phenomenal. It is very addicting and deserves some praise. I’m still keeping the game but please fix the glitches! If you are trying to decide to download it and you are reading this, don’t think I made it sound horrible, because it is not! Give it a shot and you will love it! #nohate #lovethisgame #fixtheglitches
  • Awesome game

    By WasLinda
I have been playing dancing line for a few years now and I love the game! I don’t think I have played a game for this long without getting rid of it! All of the soundtracks are beautiful and the most of the levels are great and challenging, (which I like). Some of your best works in my opinion was the crystal, the maze, and the earth. All had beautiful graphics and the maze is the most unique out of all of them with the twisty turns and all that. Although the game itself is great, some of your new features and levels have let me down. First of all, I don’t like the idea of have to pay actual, literal money to unlock levels. I think that paying diamonds is enough, and that should be the only way, besides free trials. Also, there have been many let downs with levels. I think that holiday ones should only stay around for that holiday and a few days after, because seeing Christmas Eve level in the middle of June is kind of weird. Sailor’s Tale and All About Us we’re just horrible levels in general, and I do not think have the spring before the beginning is a smart idea because it laterally says, “The Beginning”. Also, not a big fan of the Autumn soundtrack, that’s just my opinion though. I think that a little more effort in levels and features could bring back the original Dancing Line everyone loved, and still love. Ahhh, stop, I could’ve dropped my croissant
  • Amazing!

    By GameCrusher2
This game is absolutely amazing! The levels are quality, the lines are awesome, and the music is amazing! If I could ask for one thing, it would be to get rid of the Sing! Karaoke ad with the guy who sings “Ain’t Never Getting Older.” It’s really annoying because it’s the ad that plays the most. Anyways, beside that, the game is really good. There is a thing called match and it says that it is coming soon, but I really don’t know what it is. Can the creators of the game please tell me what it is? Also, a few people are saying that there is a bug in the level The Mountains, where an eagle destroys a diamond. It isn’t a bug, it’s a small test. In an area, there are a bunch of birds making a path for the line, and what you have to do is go through the path without disturbing the birds. If you do, they will fly away and the eagle will destroy the diamond. I haven’t gotten the diamond yet but I will get it soon. Can the creators make a remix of the Sailor’s Tale? A few more things that I want added into the game, are a video button that records when you play a level, “delicate diamonds” which are special diamonds in REALLY hard places, an endless level mode, a practice mode which you cannot collect diamonds (like Geometry Dash), and a new level called “the Extreme”. Please add these. Thanks!
  • Most Frustrating Game

    By Margwi
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the music and atmosphere. HOWEVER, this game is filled to the brim with ads. I get a long 60 sec ad every two lives I spend and half of the time, I don’t get a choice to close it, even when it has no value to me as the player. Another issue I’ve come across is the fact that in several of the levels, I don’t even have to hit the wall to die; if I barely touch it by a hair then I die (sometimes it wasn’t even that). My biggest complaint BY FAR is the fact that because the game is so overloaded with ads (with the addition of the high graphics), EVERY TIME I go through an ad, the game lags SO MUCH. This means that I can go through 3 or 4 lives before the game isn’t out of sync, glitching, or going through the moments where I’m hardly able to see my character because it’s being run off the screen by the auto-scrolling. And then to top it all off, the path to take is extremely unclear on many of the levels and takes about 7 lives just trying to figure out where to go (in some cases it’s ok, but it’s taken too far in several levels that shouldn’t be as hard as they are). I don’t get frustrated that easily, but this game is ridiculous. Again, beautiful game as far as graphics and concept goes, and it has so much potential, but these problems are too much and drag the game down.
  • Absolutely Love it!

    By Paindeer? Hey
The graphics and music is amazing. The concept for the game is great and the gameplay is simply beautiful. Though a little difficult at first I absolutely love it! Maybe teach me a little better tempo along the way. I love the way the level gets more intense when the song does, and the way that if you wanted to, you could even play this blind. (I tried it a couple times with decent success.) Yet the graphics and animation is wonderful! I suggest this app to anyone who likes music or basically anyone at all. Update: I'm very happy with how far I got in the game and the updates are brilliant! I'm still searching everywhere for a soundtrack of this this. I would pay for it! The new maps are even more awesome and amazing, and while I love the new cube options, some of them distract me a little so I don't often use them. I am easily distracted all the time so that's okay. Another Update: The producers are never ceasing to impress. Now, there are a few levels I don’t really like, but there are so many to chose from it doesn’t matter! I love the newest one’s graphics (like The West and The Savana) the soundtracks are still great and have more variety then before.
  • Why

    By CrimsonChin7295992
Don’t get me wrong, this game is fun to play! If your looking for a simple game that’s addicting and fun to play then this game is your best bet. Ok so why am I giving it a 2 star? Well for a couple of reasons. For one, some of the levels aren’t as in depth as others and I feel like they were made very fast and without a whole lot of care. That being said I also feel like some of the first levels were made with more passion in mind then money... and that leads me to my next topic. Money! The fact that you have to pay/watch an add to keep playing a level is just scummy! I know whoever made this wants to make some money off of the game and I get that. But it comes to a point where it’s just down right annoying to play any hard levels because you have to watch so many adds! I like hard levels, I like the satisfaction of finally finishing a hard level, I don’t think every level should be easy, but I also don’t think that hard levels should be the money makers! If a level is hard then you’ll make money off of people playing it constantly and enjoying it. Not making them watch 1000 different adds because not only does that make us not want to play, it makes us want to quit. Oh and last thing, for the love of god if your going to put a song in with lyrics at least make it a good song... thank you!!!
  • Ok

    By Fivkfdkxovnd
I’ve had this app for a long time and it’s fun. But there are a lot of problems that if you fixed would make the app a lot better. 1) the amount of lives you get when you watch videos are way too low. For one, when you watch a video to open the chest, you only get 2 lives, where when you watch a video to get lives to continue from your checkpoint, you get four. If I’m watching a video for both to get lives...they should be the same amount. At least the one for the chest should be higher because it’s so called special. Plus, 4 lives do not last long at all and you should bump it up to 10 or something. Or just stick to how it used to be where there were no lives required to continue from checkpoint. It’s just really annoying. 2) it lags a lot. This is really annoying. I’m playing one of the levels and then it lags which results in me dying...which also means I just wasted a life. Not very fair, is it? 3) let us unlock levels easier. In order to unlock one you need to buy one with real money, fake money that you earn by buying it or earning it, or getting a perfect score on another level. I know there’s a chest you can open, but I’ve never unlocked a level from that and I’ve played this game for a long time.
  • Definitely Recommend This Game

    By Mr.Poptropica
This game is a really fun and addicting game to play! But I have been having a little bit of glitches here and there, but is I can manage you can to...one thing I like about it is it has beautiful and unique songs on it. I have been losing storage, but I kind deleted 4 more different games JUST so I could keep this one. If you are up for a challenge you should definitely get this game. Even if you are running low on hearts you will seriously always be determined to keep trying! Ok I know how dramatic that seems but you will get it when you get the game.. and if you can’t because of storage freaking delete at least 1 app and 2 pictures for this game! Trust me it will be worth it! And if you don’t like it is not hard to delete... but don’t hate on ME!! because everyone has there own opinion! Ok, welp if you get the game enjoy it! And do NOT say “tldr” (to long didn’t read) cause if you do then there would be seriously no point in keep writing this.... :/ so now I’m gonna stop cause I know y’all are getting bored... :/... ok byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (if you know what that is from I am literally your best friend! In MY opinion!
  • Great game, weighed down with ads

    By a rocka
I've been playing this game for the last year or so, and I love the music and the challenge of the levels. The music and artwork sync together well to give the player an entertaining and involved experience that keeps them wanting more. However, the recent addition of heart cubes in addition to regular cubes has made the game somewhat difficult to play. 30 second ads every 4 deaths to continue messes up the pacing of the game and has made the game more difficult to play. I understand the need to support developers, and I imagine these levels are difficult to program in addition to producing the music. Because I enjoyed the game so much, I decided to shell out to pay for the $5.99 no pop ads, and I never spend money on phone games. I played about 2 minutes, then had an ad pop to gain 4 more heart cubes to continue. Why is there an option to spend money to remove ads when the ads are still there? I am extremely disappointed and have since restored that purchase. I will happily spend money to enjoy this game without ads, but it is unethical to offer a no ads option requiring a steep $5.99 then still have ads to gain more lives.
  • Love the game but this new update.... yokes

    By eclectisms
This is one of my favorite games on iOS, but I definitely agree with other reviews that the new update really messes it up. The UI is clunky, not nearly as intuitive or as beautiful as the old one (which, like others, was a lot of what drew me to this game in the first place with it's minimalist design that really fit the gameplay and music), it's lagging a lot more (even when I turned the quality down and made room in my storage), and my most favorite thing about the game was that first song with the piano keys, and now it's sped up?? That song was beautiful, calming, and an incredible introductory experience that really had a huge hand in me falling in love with this game, and speeding it up makes it sound and feel rushed, like the orchestra can't wait to get it over with, and a lot of my enjoyment of this game entirely has just been sapped away as a result. :( I get that app developers rarely turn back releases like this, and I'm sure a lot of people will get used to the new UI, but with the overplayed new design and changing that first song.... I replay it more than any other song, and I don't know how much interest I can retain in this app without it.
  • Level/songs

    By Mikey6543217890
Great game overall but level design seems to have grown a bit lazy in the most recent updates. Ever since the sailors tale and all about us i feel that the game has been losing its charm. It would be nice to see buffed remixes for the original levels. Personally I’d like to see more electro/dubstep in this rhythm game and maybe a new game mode to make it more interesting. The skins for the icons are neat but it would be nicer if there was another game mode. For maps I feel that it would be cool to have more nature or abstract maps. Also it would be nice to see more levels or some how a ingame editor so we the community can make custom levels. There could be a list for featured levels, epic levels and a daily feature. Daily feature could give more rewards. I also feel that there needs to be some sort of scale for difficulty recognition. I don’t think you guys intend to make a lot of extreme levels but it would be nice to add a scale of easy normal hard insane and extreme if you go above extreme there could be deadly levels. I just feel like the game could use more of a in game community and if this could happen then maybe we could get this game on steam.
  • Fun but features are game breaking.

    By Hawkman98
So I actually enjoy this game. Music is fantastic, gameplay is simple yet challenging. But it’s some of the features that are included that essentially make this game very difficult to play effectively. I understand the need have adds and videos to make money. But the problem is that I will get to a checkpoint and then lose. I want to restart at the checkpoint so I tap the “video” button so I can get the necessary tokens. A message that goes something like this follows “Video wont play. Try again later.” Well that’s a shame, cuz now I don’t have enough in game currency or a way to get in enough in game currency to even play your game. This occurs literally every time I lose after a checkpoint. Making it impossible to progress unless I have a flawless run, and I end up just listening to the same chunk of song over and over again making the gameplay annoying, tedious and simply not fun. I would love this game if only I could progress through the levels. Lastly I wanted to try to get support for this issue, but if any support even exists for this app, I couldn’t figure out how to get it. So if support does exist, it is overcomplicated and tedious to obtain.
  • Fraudulent tactic by app developers

    By MMF.
I should preface this by saying that the actual game, in absence of ads, is great. That said, the frequency of advertisements in this app is out of line. The ads—appearing once every five or so attempts—were so obtrusive & disruptive to the playing experience that I was convinced to pay $4.99 to get rid of them completely (I NEVER spend money on apps, so that’s really saying something). **The newest update, however, renders my previous purchase 100% null & void.** The update introduces a new feature called “hearts,” which function as checkpoint-lives. When out of hearts, the player must watch a 30 second ad to get FOUR more. Yep, FOUR. This absurd frequency aside, the critical fact to keep in mind is that I already purchased an ad-free experience. This underhanded tactic by the app developers is a classic “bait and switch” and is ILLEGAL: you cannot advertise an ad-free gaming experience, sell it to a customer for $5, and then re-insert ads in a later update. Though Dancing Line is “just a game”— trivial in the scheme of things—deceit and FRAUD on any level are indefensible. If the new “hearts” feature is to remain, you are at minimum obliged to return my $5. An honorable company, though, would actually deliver on the ad-free experience promised in the first place.
  • I like it but sometimes I don't

    By penguineeee
This game is awesome. One of my favorite games ever. I usually drop games after a few weeks and never look back, but I've kept this one for a long time. The concept is unique and creative, and I appreciate the different musical styles and how they are visually represented. But....the glitches and ads are bad. They are very frustrating. Every update brings new ones. At first it was just that it would freeze up, and then it wouldn't let you go back to your checkpoint. Now it gets stuck playing the background track of the winter remix in the background of whatever level I'm playing. The correct soundtrack plays over top of the remix track, which is incredibly confusing. The only way to get rid of it is to restart the app, which costs all of my progress on that level. I'm also not a huge fan of the overhaul on the look of the different menus. I really liked the minimalist approach it had before. Now it feels too clunky. But I can get used to it--just please fix the current glitches without introducing new ones :(
  • Great new level!

    By Davidcohen6149000
Update: please make a level of “paint it black” by Ramin Djawadi, feel it would be a perfect song that players would love. Update: the new level “the maze” is one of the best levels I’ve played in this game. I was annoyed at the newer levels coming out as stated in my previous rating. They felt poorly worked on and filled with glitches. However, in this new update the level just feels like it was one of the original ones. It is all in all really fun to play and i appreciate the new twist added to the game. Beat it today and will surely play many more times. Still waiting on matches but keep up the good work! Need work done:I have been playing for a while now and really did love the game since the beginning. This new level is garbage in comparison with the older ones, please go back to basics. The regular levels when this game first came out are and still much better than the new ones. If your gonna make a new song with actual lyrics, make it a song people want to listen to.
  • Each level should have difficulties!!!!

    By dbkelectronics
Hello guys again it's the third time that I write a review for you developers and again i have to say your game is pretty awesome but its been get bad since 3 weeks ago because you guys prepare updates really slowly and that's bad I know you guys are trying to make the game better but it's slow but anyway keep this work up we guys love this game and the important thing in this passage is right here to....... I have an idea what about you guys set difficulty for each level (easy-medium-hard-expert) that will make the game even better but it needs a lot of time because you guys need to edit each level 4 times But it will worth it believe me it does If you do that levels will be hard for each of us imagine that piano level is as hard as Chinese garden !!!!!!!!! Please make that happen and if you wanna make this great work happen at least give me a feedback to i know to prepare my self fir the next update and i never receive feedback from you developers really???????
  • Gone too far?!

    By _AmB4LaMbA_
To start off, I had been playing this game since the beginning--completing every level with 3 crowns, recommending it to all my friends, etc. Until the game slipped into "greedy opportunist" mode. I knew it was only an amount of time for a game to realize how much it could make, but I was genuinely surprised this time. The game went from my all-time favorite, to a game I only play once every two weeks. The number of lives you receive throughout one level really was my last straw. Instead of spending hours trying to beat a level, I was bored after ten minutes... Notice something? Listen, developers, do you see what it is doing to your cash cow? This is the very reason why games stumble and fall. Soon another rhythm game will come along--better and more generous-- and players will divert away. I have seen this happen numerous times to many games(remember the Webkinz empire?). I still dearly love the gameplay, but please heed my advice and at least change how many lives you get in one level. I am also (maybe you have noticed) not alone in my view. The best thing for you to do is let the players play in the best way possible. If you don't, why have a game at all?
  • GREAT GAME!...except for the new update

    By gsjbuffalo
I have loved this ever since I first obtained it five months ago. The levels are dynamic and diverse. The only level I dislike is All About Us, perhaps because it is too different from the other levels. As of late, I have found a quandary with the new update. First of all, a minor issue is that you rearranged the order that I ha become more familiar with. Second of all, you over simplified The Piano and the Beach. I don’t mind the change for the piano as much as I mind the for the Beach. The Beach was supposed to be a challenging, hard to acquire, level. It took we a few weeks to get through the scene with the floor that changed from dark to light, yet I was so satisfied when I did. You are no longer offering this challenge and satisfaction which I have come to expect so much. Despite this, you have had many home runs including The Sailor’s Tale, The Earth, The Storm, The Maze, and even the new level, the Savannah. Please, do not stop making the game challenging, as that is what draws players to the game and keeps them playing it.
  • I liked it before a few recent updates

    By Old iPad 3678
Back before one of the updates the game was in my opinion perfect. You were able to unlock levels as you progressed through the game. Also the levels all had their own style of beats and music. Some of the levels were altered to make them easier and i really don’t understand why they did that. Take piano for example. That level had paths that were a bit small but provided enough space for the player to pass through. Now they added these huge paths were you feel like you don’t have to listen to the music to play. It has happened to many other levels and I wish that they would put the old paths back in. I also noticed that the game has become more of a pay to win game. We used to only use these gem things to unlock skins but now they are used for unlocking levels; chests; and skins and the only way to get these gems is to beat levels and even then you can’t beat levels more than once because the gems are a one time reward. I hope this dose not get worse since i am a free to play player and don’t like spending money on games.
  • Went downhill

    By coolperson69
I beat everything 100% last year and then deleted the app. I decided to pick it up again to see what was new or different, only to find that it’s become all mucked up. Now there are specific cubes people need to restart a level from a checkpoint, and you have to watch adds to get them? Some of the new levels that were added feel like an ode to how the game used to be, and the maze one is particularly fun (and sometimes frustrating) to figure out. I think my biggest gripe is that in some of the new levels, especially in The Savannah and Chinese Garden, there’s way too much camera movement. It’s extremely disorienting and doesn’t allow a player for much room to see the distances between the line and the obstacles. I understand that the gameplay is sound based, but it’s also just crappy design when you can’t see the relationship between yourself and the things around you. Stages like the Plains had maybe one section of interesting camera movement, and it never felt choppy, and still left for plenty of sight to the level. Stop messing around with technical features and keep to the basics and the game would be so much better.
  • What happened??

    By Hippiedoodle
Don’t get me wrong, I love this game and I used to be a total addict. However after the level “All About Us,” none of the levels have been fun for me. Either they have impossible game mechanics (such as the sled in “The Christmas” or are WAY too easy (“The Savanna,” “The West,” “The Spring,” and “The Storm Blues Remix”). I get that some levels are supposed to be easy but it seems with every new level has less and less effort put into it. Players need a new challenge, not one that they can perfect in one try (I was especially very displeased with “The Storm Blue Remix”). It seems there are fillers as well in the new levels, such as periods where the music is playing and the player can literally put down his/her device for a solid 5 seconds. This is an example of lazy designing and you guys need to go back to making levels like before (my favorites include “The Desert,” “The Crystal,” “The Chaos,” and literally any of the other original levels. I don’t think I will stop playing but if you guys want to keep attracting more players while keeping the game fresh, then put more effort into designing your levels.

Ok, so the titles a bit crazy. Idc. It is to make a point. I understand creativity, but in winter, yea, the 4th level, is kinda ridiculous. The ground rising I bet has thrown a lot of people off and one of them is me. Iv’e wasted all the hearts countinueing from the last checkpoint, and STILL cant even get past 50%! It’s RIDICULOUS!!! I’m one of those kids who is obsessed with music, and iv’e been trying to find an app like this for over a year now! When I got this app, I though it was gonna be awesome. And I’ll say this now, this review is NOT meant to be offensive. I admire the developers creativity, but not when it’s kinda impossible. One of my other apps is add addicted and honestly I would rather play that. And another thing is adds. The same one OVER AND OVER. The one that keeps playing over and over is some cheesy “Love Nicky” game. (I’m saying it’s cheesy cuz it’s dress up for teenage girls 😏). Again, like I said, creativity is a need, but to much of it can just be, well, kinda annoying, and just TO MUCH. And yes, I would be happy to see this fixed, but developer, you have alot of creativity and I hope you will understand that some people just can’t handle it.
  • Amazing game, but getting worse

Don't get me wrong, this is by far my favorite game. It is simple, addictive, and frustrating, but it is such a cool game that it makes up for it. You never get bored--I have had this game for an extremely long time, and still haven't completed all the levels--and it is really cool. However, you have branched out. You now have several "remix levels", none of which are great and all of which could just be their own level (especially The Beach) instead of a remix. I don't like that you use the same tune in those but change the style. My real complaint with this game is the newer level, "All About Us". All the levels were great up to this. I really liked the music in each one, and everything was fine. But in All About Us, you are completely changing the style of music you have stuck with since the beginning. It is awful music, and it just doesn't look as cool as the rest. Another thing I liked about the game were the names of the levels--I liked how in The Piano the piano is playing the song, and I thought The Sailor's Tale was very creative--but All About Us is kind of a dumb name, along with the fact that everything about it is advertisement. Also, please put the original introduction level back in--that used to be one of my favorite things about the game. And--another suggestion--put in a paper airplane as one of the lines! So, in other words, amazing game, but just take out All About Us, the level that made the game so much worse.
