How to download, install and play Pokémon Shuffle Mobile on your PC and Mac

If you want to install and play the Pokémon Shuffle Mobile game on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Pokémon Shuffle Mobile for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Pokémon Shuffle Mobile game for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Pokémon Shuffle Mobile in the search bar and press Search. Click on Pokémon Shuffle Mobile game icon. A window of Pokémon Shuffle Mobile on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your Game will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed Games.

This game is simple to play. The colors and variety of pokemon are interesting. I would like to see a Facebook link option to add friends and share progress. I would also like to see more friends available under the list than just 30.

This game is super fun to play and I enjoyed the first about two hours because the beginning of game is very generous! They give you enough hearts to play about an hour and a half/ 2 hours. But then to get one heart it’s a half hour wait to play one level in about 2 minutes. With a total of 5 so two and a half hours to get a full set. This is extremely bumming to at least me I’m not sure about other people. I want to keep playing but I can’t. There is t even a full game version I could buy which I 100% would. Please change this.

Started out fun but quickly became impossible to beat without using jewels. The only way to get jewels is to buy them. Yeah it's free to play for about 15 minutes per day. Play for 3 minutes, wait 3 hours for more lives. Give me a break.

Now, disregarding the major cash grab in this game or the difficulty curve that takes luck and/or event Pokémon giveaways to progress past, the fact that DS players get more free jewels and spend 1000 less coins per great ball, I still play on mobile simply because of the convinence. And I know they’ve rationalized it by calling it hard mode, (which, no.) But what really strikes me the wrong way is the catch rates being hidden. Anytime you have a 10% or less catch rate of getting a Pokémon, the number is replaces with an ‘?’ instead of the percentage. Now, keep in mind when you use a great ball, the percent doubles so you can normally figure out where it landed anyway, but it’s almost like they want players to use great balls on Pokémon that may still have a ‘?’, when they’re new. It’s like saying “we don’t want you to know not to waste your coins”. It’s not a feature on DS and it feels condescending and shameful honestly.... I really hope they patch it out soon, but it’s been in since the beginning so I’m not sure it’ll go anywhere. Overall though, it is a very fun game that holds up to the “catch ‘em all” theme of the games in a whole new way.

I’ve always been a fan of the pixels in older Pokemon games, and even a newer fan of the 3D models, but it was nice to see a different take on the Pokemon art in this game. I also like that I can shut down my 3DS without having to wait for anything and pick up where I left off. Something I don’t like, which is mostly me, is that some of the Pokemon blend together. Pokemon that are in certain groups share the same colors, like Water types tend to be blue and fire types tend to be red. A game mode where you can move any of the Pokemon to wherever you want, it can get hard for me to differentiate between several of the same colored Pokemon. If I could change something, I’d definitely add in something to help differentiate between same colored Pokemon. Perhaps having a mode where you can put the Pokemon sprites inside a colored box like some sort of tetris, or having Pokemon tinted different colors would help.
  • Overall fun game
